■代表　講師紹介

エリカ先生は日本語も喋るアメリカ育ちの先生です。

Erika Kon is currently a substitute teacher for Torrance Unified

School District for kindergarten through eighth grade.

She is also in the third phase of her Multiple Subjects teaching

credential at California State University, Dominguez Hills.

She has experience in tutoring and mentoring children

of all ages for over five years.

She has worked with at-risk students for

Los Angeles Unified School District for

two years. She also speaks fluently in Japanese.

日本語が少し理解できる、日系人先生です。

Laurie Takigawa is currently teaching 8th grade

Humanities (English and Social Science)

and English Language Development

at Rancho San Joaquin Middle School in Irvine, CA.

She received her single subject teaching

credential and a Masters in Teaching in 2009

from the University of California, Irvine.

She has tutored preschool to high school

students in Math and English for over five years.

Her reading and writing skills in

Japanese are in intermediate levels.

ぺトラ先生の母親もロスアンゼルスの中学校長先生という

教師家族出身です。

Petra Krumland graduated from California State University,

Long Beach (CSULB) with a B.A. in Liberal Studies

and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.

She taught all subjects in a 1st grade class

and a 5th grade classroom.

She also has experience teaching 7th grade science at

a camp hosted by CSULB.
